What do we clear? We clear absolutely anything except hazardous waste, (Chemicals-Asbestos etc.), although we can arrange to have such materials cleared for you. We clear heavy machinery, filing cabinets, desks, computers, scrap metal and more. Take a look at the various photographs on this page they will give you an idea of just what we can clear. We have specialist operatives who are trained to dismantle plant and machinery; to move & dispose of as necessary.

All factory & office clearances undertaken by Abacus are covered under our Public Liability Insurance, which is currently to the value of £10,000,000 but can be increased to any amount as necessary.
Absolutely! Copies of any waste transfer notes, or waste disposal receipts, can be supplied when asked for.
Yes, we are fully registered with the Environment Agency.
In the UK we meet all the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations. All of our staff are trained and work to our own in house health and safety policy.
If it is a large factory or office clearance, we recommend we should visit the site so we can see what's involved logistically with the clearance. If it is a small job, (1 day clearance), a telephone call or photographs will be sufficient in enabing us to provide you with a quote.

We can usually be on site to make a start within 2/3 days from the time of your instruction.
This is entirely your choice. We can be left to work alone once we have been given our instructions, or, you can remain on site, but please do not get in our way while we are working.
We do! We supply all cutting gear, vans, lorries, trolleys and any other tools needed to get the job done.
Yes, by all means. We prefer photographs of smaller jobs beforehand. Bigger jobs may require a site visit, but a few photographs beforehand will give us a general idea of what's required. Email your photographs to ukhouseclearance@yahoo.co.uk
Yes! A lot of clients, especially on office clearances require the property to be cleaned once it has been cleared. But please tell us if you require a clean so we can quote for this service separately.
