We were appointed to clear
a large industrial unit in High Wycombe as the customers lease had come
to an end and the landlord wanted the building stripped back to the
way it was when the lease was first taken on, in other words the building
had to be stripped back to a shell.
We removed a large mezzanine
floor, over 2000 sq feet of suspended ceiling's, 2 metal stair cases,
over 8 ton of steel girder supports that held the mezzanine floor, over
1 ton of cabling throughout the building, we had our own electrician's
on site to disconnect all the electric's safely. We removed false walls
and floors, we removed a fully operational scissor lift and hydraulics
and once we got the building stripped out we removed all the floor tiles
from the ground floor.
The whole project took
9 days from start to finish with 6 members of Abacus staff.
